ABSTRACT
Cervical disc arthroplasty is a relatively new technology in retaining the level of motion at the treated level in vertebra surgery. The indications for anterior cervical disc prosthesis are the same as for anterior cervical decompression: radiculopathy or myelopathy caused by either one or two levels of anterior cervical compression. The goals are to restore the intervertebral disc height and neuroforaminal height to prevent recurrence of neurologic compression. Our aim at this article to eveluate currently cervical disc prosthesis indications.
