ABSTRACT

Adil Surat (Professor of Orthopedics) was born in Arhavi district of the city of Artvin which is located at North-East coast of Turkiye at 11th December 1941. He graduated School of Medicine at 1965. He joined with Department of Orhopedics of Hacettepe Medical Faculty at 1971. Awarded with the title of “Professor” at 1989. He became a Chairman of abovementioned Department at 1994. It is well kown that he added a lots of things to Turkish Orthopedics and to spinal surgery. He is one of the most significant frontier of Turkish spinal surgery.
