ABSTRACT

Manubriosternal dislocation is a rare condition in orthopaedic trauma. It can be occured with direct or indirect trauma and can be in association with other musculoskeletal injuries. Flexion compression injury of the thoracic spine as an indirect trauma can cause manubriosternal dislocation. There is no presented report, type 2 manubriosternal dislocation with multiple thoracic compression fractures. We report here indirect reduction of type 2 manubriosternal dislocation in a 44 year old man with posterior pedicle segmental screw fixation.
