ABSTRACT

In the present study we aimed to assess the functional results of the patients who underwent surgical treatment due to two or more level degenerative lomber spınal stenosis. Minimum follow-up is one year. Demographic data, radiographic results, and treadmill tests were obtained preoperatively and at the last visit. Questionnaires regarding functional status and general health were full-filled by the patients preoperatively and at the last visit. The correlation between the instruments of which Turkish validation was done and which have not been validated was also measured.

Of the 15 patients 12 were women (80%) and 3 patient were men (20%). The mean age of patients at the time of operation was 67. Mean follow-up of the patients was 21,1 months. Eleven patients had at least one systemic disease. Mean level of decompression was 2,86. Presence of postop complications negatively affected the patientsʼ outcomes. At the last visit patients functional results were satisfactory. Also correlation was shown between the tests. At last visit 73,3%of patientsʼ satisfaction was wonderfull or good.
