ABSTRACT

Abnormal body movements, so-called dystonia can occur with neurologic diseases or idiopathic. In this paper, we present a case who had focal dystonic movements unlike from cervical dystonia that can be associated with cervical spinal disorders. Patient’s complaints, who had acutely presented abnormal movements and diagnosed as diffuse degenerative cervical spondylarthropathy and spinal cord compression, totaly resolved after surgical treatment. Cervical and extremity dystonies from the literature are reviewed with this case report.
