ABSTRACT

Ambroise Paré was a french surgeon who named as the father of modern surgery because of his publications in 16th century, the time that the surgeons were working below the level of doctors. He made unique contributions on modern surgery with the descriptions on the treatment and surgery of gun wounds, and vessel ligations.
