Dr. Cemil Topuzlu is among the pioneers of modern surgery in Turkey. Beside several general surgery procedures, he made several spinal operations. These operations include spinal trauma and Pott’s disease. İn this manuscript, operated spinal cases and spine-related publications of Dr. Cemil Topuzlu performed in the end of 19th century and in the beginning of 20th century vvere presented.
